In 6.5 but missing in OOTPB2006. You decide...

In another post (http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...1&postcount=62) I just pledged to poll you guys on features in OOTP 6.5 that were not in OOTPB2006.

I want you to tell me what you miss and from this post we'll make that all important poll.

You guys can have a say in the development of OOTPB2007 this way (of course we've got lots of stuff we want to put in that is totally new but I'm wary of the comments concerning 'missing' featuresets.

I'll start you off

- Bullpen warmups
- Trading Block

Yes! This is vital!

The trading block is huge for me and some others. Weather in some form.

I don't care so much about a trading BLOCK (version 5's trading block never amounted to anything), but the trading in general right now is frustrating me. First of all, I loved being able to offer a player, and gin etting immediate feedback as to who they'd be willing to give me in return. I know Markus is trying to make it more realistic by having at least a day in between a trade getting accepted or refused, but I'd love to at least be able to say to a team..."If I give you Johnson, who will you give me in return?". Instead, I offer a trade, and they come back and tell me who else THEY want from me.

Also, right now I have an overprised 2B who I'm trying to get rid of. When I try to trade him to Fort Worth, they dont want him because, like I said, he IS overpaid. However, when I click on a new team, his name goes away and I have to reput that in there. In the older versions, his name stayed there until YOU removed it.

The first two are on the league home page and the third is in the history section(new with patch 2).

Drafts under 5 rounds

Intuitive stat entry (i.e. Power inputable as HR per 550 ABs), although this was OOTP5

Ability to reset all league records so that historical leagues don't start from day one with records based on the past career of the imported players.

bullpen warmups is useless if the Ai doesnt do it too.

In the past only human team can use bullpen warmups.

I know this has been stated numerous times but, please add weather to the game. It can even be similar to version 6.5 where rain delays can affect a pitchers performance. It definitely adds strategy to mananging a game.

Sound would be nice too. It adds atmospshere to the game as well. I know there are some that don't care about sound however, there are those (Dreamteams, etc.) and myself who appreciate the sound feature in 6.xx that was abruptly disabled with the Windows SP2 patch.

Sound feature can be optional within the game so those that don't care or wish to have sound can disble the function.

Thanks for listening again..........

League standings report (team vs team W-L records)
Ability to promote minor league managers (while this wasn't an in-game feature of 6.5, this was something you could do on your own, as in TWB - now since minor league managers can't be promoted, it interferes with the ability to do that)

My list is all of the above...plus

Weather- This is cosmetic, or has been in the past. Even with that...it really helped give a feeling of your team was going to Tucson or Las Vegas where it might be 102 in July....or looking ahead you see you have a 7-game road trip starting 4 games in Miami and 3 games in New Orleans...I don't know about anybody else...but with the potential rain delays...I would try and have a rested bullpen or even make a callup and carry an extra pitcher for those series. All I'm saying is that weather in thea game helps my imagination and helps me become more immersed in my league/team/players.

Single-game records

This was in catobase, but I'd love to see it in '06, or '07, manager records.........human and computer. And "era" settings that change automatically over time, i.e. bullpen usage, starting pitcher endurance, closer usage, stealing and bunting frequency.
