financial weirdness in almanac

I'm getting some teams with some crazy numbers in their financial history in the almanac. I've got my financial coefficient assigned as .062, so the superstarts make around a million. Team financials in the "game" itself seem ok, with decent numbers, but after simming 8 seasons overnight, and looking in the almanac, I'm getting teams with financial histories that are saying +50 million in some cases, and -50 million in some cases. I don't think it's true, as most teams payrolls are aroun 4-5 million. Anyone else seeing this?
