"The Computer is disconnected from the server."

Hmm...every time I try to export today, I get a pop up box saying "The computer is disconnected from the server" And I'm assuming my export isn't going through. Any ideas?

This is happening on both 6.12 and 6.5.

can you ftp into anywhere else?
what about any other internet issues?
do other programs that may use the ftp protocol come up with similiar errors at all?

Well, I'm not too great around a computer, but I have had no internet problems besides this. Is there anything common that I could do to see if my ftp still works somewhere else?

well usually the way I test it is to try to connect to my web hosting company. Do you have anything liek that?

If not maybe somene can suggest a server online that does ftp that cna be tested. I sadly dont' ahve any off the top of my head
