Contract Bug

Running the Patch 2 beta:

I've found that if you submit a contract offer, (either FA or for an extension) then save the game. Then close out of the game entirely, (ie close out of the game before you get a response from the player) when you come back, the sim acts as if you never made an offer to the player.

This happens to me, without fail, every time I close. In every league, yada yada. It has only started since the most recent patch.

Its pretty annoying since I close out and restart a lot (to deal with the memory leakage issues that have been improved by not fully solved with this new patch).

You may have just discovered the maddening, surprising, disappearing stars that I thought had renewed contracts.

Tell me about it. This glitch dominated my post patch playing time. I usually just close out the game whne I get up to do anything else, so I kept coming back on, simming a couple of days, and then seeing my targeted FAs sign elsewhere for far less money.

But really, if you just make sure you get a response from everybody you offered stuff to, everything can proceed as normal.

This problem doesn't happen with waiver claims btw, just with contract or extension offers.
