Huge signing issue.
I have run into a huge signing issue. I have 10 million (give or take) left for contract signings during the season and i cannot sign a player due to the board saying i do not have the money for a 350k contract (yet it says i have 10 million left). I also ran into this problem to some degree during free agent signings. I offered 15 million (had a 19 million budget) and the board would not aprove the contract offer. However, if i lowered it down to say 6 million, the board would accept the contract.
So to recap: Issue 1. Offered 350k contract to player during season. Board won't approve it even though my budget still has 10 million left. Issue 2 Offered 14 million contract to player during free agency. Board won't aprove it even though the budget has 19 million left. However, if i offer the player 6 million, the board will say its an ok contract. |

Distro, regarding issue 1, is there any way you could provide a screenshot of your team's front office at the time of that offer?
Regarding issue 2, I'm not quite sure this is an issue. When considering whether a contract is OK, the owners consider the ramifications out for two years. It may be that based on your current financial situation, and the length of your offer, that the contract would put your team in trouble NEXT year. Again, screenshots of the front office screen would help us figure that out. Thanks, Steve |

We have a new rule that states that Tech Support threads wherein we have not received a response within 7 days will be closed.
This one meets this criteria, so I'm closing this. If you want to discuss it again, just PM me with the thread link, and I'll re-open. (Don't just say "Hey, reopen my thread." I need to know the URL, thanks!) Steve |
