Undiscovering New Talent, 70 years old

First I would like to say I love the new patch the game is so much faster. Now 2 problems I have seen and would like to know if anyone else has seen them.

1. My scout discovered a new talent in canada. Nothing new to the game except my new talent is 70 years old.

2. Also with all the new talent my scout finds the ratings are all 1's and 3's.

I will post this in the support just wanted to see if anyone else had seen these problems.

Maybe he was a great knuckleballer who got missed out earlier in his career, and can still do it......... what a story............sort of Roy Hobbs pls let us know how he got on!

Maybe the problem is your scout, seems like was riding the White Horse when he did that scout report, maybe he meant to write "I've seen a player and he wears 70"

How old is your league? I've been seeing a similar problem with my pre-patch league that is currently in it's 24th season.

With 3 good scouts all searching excellent target countries, the last dozen or so prospects I've seen have all been in their mid to late 40's, and all have ratings of about 1 to 6 (100 pt. scale). I thought it might have something to do with the age of my league and the game not generating new prospects. Again, this is all before the new patch.

It must have something to do with the age of the league. My league is 49 years old so if you are having the problem then I think we found out the reason why. Have you been able to sign them because I can't sign my 70 year old wonder.

Well, none of them looked like they were worth signing, so I didn't try.

The other variable that I've speculated might be the culprit was a modification I made before creating the league. I removed all countries from the Nations List that had Baseball Quality of less than Good.

I was trying to get the screen view down to a manageable list of countries that I didn't have to scroll through and that eliminated countries that were worthless to me for game scouting purposes. The game seemed to function fine, but I've worried since that it might have reduced the universe of scoutable players to a point that was causing my problem.

Did you happen to make a similar modification?
