Nations and Cities Database Editor
Here is the first public release of my Nations and Cities database editor for y'all to play with. I've tried my best to make this better than my schedule converter (which was pretty much a rush job, but since everyone was clamoring for something to convert old schedule files to new, well...)
If anyone has any problems/suggestions, feel free to drop me a line. As always, new versions will be posted in this post as they come out. EDIT: Found and fixed an error causing the find/replace box to not even work. It should work now. EDIT 2: I had created an installer package (go me!) that would have simplified the installation and would have helped everyone overcome the missing OCX file problem. Unfortunately the forum only allows a 100KB upload and the zip file came in at 145. So, for now, I've included the missing OCX file for everyone to avoid the hassle of Googling it and perhaps soon someone from OOTP Mod Squad will happen along and I can send them the installer package and then everyone can get it from there. Place the OCX file in your Windows\System32 directory. Then register it by choosing >start >run >regsvr32 \windows\system32\COMDLG32.OCX

Could you list any libraries or what not needed to run the .exe?

It's written in Visual Basic 6. I'm horrible with libraries so forgive me. I used most of the components used in the schedule creator and I do remember people having problems with a missing OCX file. I'll check into this, though.

Yes, I check what file was missing on the schedule editor and it's the comdlg32.ocx file. That doesn't make much sense considering practically every Windows program in existence these days using the dialog box created by that file.
I believe the solution was to Google the file and install and register it. Now if I only knew how to use an installer we'd all be in a better position.

I'm getting an error:
Run-time error '339': Component 'MSFLXGRD.OCX" or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid |
