Computer Crashed

My computer got a virus i had to crash it and loose all the info on my computer (e license to the game in particular)now i have a code here that i wrote down to the game when i purchased and my understanding was you got 2 licenses i did not use my second yet but when i put my code in it tells me it is invalid anyway to check the validity of my license? I really dont want to have to re-pay for the game when i already purchased it any help would be appreciated.

Make sure the code is for OOTP 2006. I say this only because, when I first tried to activate mine the first time, I accidentally tried entering my 6.5 code.
