My first crash

I had just finished playing the games of June 27th and I hit the leave game button and lo and behold...CRASH. It took me back to 6/15 and it is wtill playing fine. I had to do the trades made again but at least I knew what the team wanted to make it a sucsessful trade... I will look fowared to the day of no crases but i am getting alot of practice...lol

I just keep telling my self that it is just a game and I laugh thinking would be nice if in real life you can be doing something and CRASH. Restart, Go back 15 days and get to erase all those bas moves you made LOL

Well you can sort of but it usually involves a severe coma, lots of pills and booze, and waking up in a dumpster in a strange city.

For me that was the 70's... They say if you remember what when on in the 70's you were not really there... CRASH!!!!! what day is this...LOL I just read so many posts that when the game crashes their life ends.. OMG what am I going to do....My 2000 year sim crashed and I'm LOST.. Where is the pill bottle. Just remember when the ambulance comes and the EMT says. Why Why Why did you try to kill your self and you look up at him and you say "OOTP" and he looks at you and asks "What do you mean" and you tell him "My Leaugue crashed and I could not take it so I took all thses pills and decided to end my life" Me, I just start over and play it again. It's just a game... LOL

Please do not take this post seriously, not meant to harm anyone and if I offeneded anyone, sorry but someitme we have to have a little humor to deal with everyday life.

I do love this game and I will wait for it to keep getting better and i will not post any inane posts such as:

1. When will thses crashes stop When Markus fixes it

2. When will I get all those things I want in the game When Markus says so

3. I have posted my complaint over 1000 times and nothing is getting done. Yes it is you were heard after the first complaint

4. I want my money back I am going to play Mogul or Diamond Mind Go ahead it is ok you can play any game you want and threatining to buy another game will not make the changes quicker, see Markus has and always will take his time and he makes sure that the patches and changes are done RIGHT and if not he fixes it again Remember OOTP went through alot of changes to get it as far as 6.5 and now we start over to eventually have a better game with better things. That has always been the way of OOTP

And finally kudos to Markus and thanks Mr. Duffy for all of the hard work both of you do, having to read inane posts and haveing to go through all the bickering on this site

For All you I thank you for all the fun I have had with this game and yes it is not real life, I do have a job, and can't play game 24 hous a day (darn).

Ok I have started saving games daily at least this way when it crashes I only lose one day...My league is crash happy. LOL

Your scouts do this on a regular basis, especially if they are in a foreign country. That's why they try to pass off 76 yr old men as prospects.

It's a quick little winrar batch file the rar's your league files up. Takes about 30-60 seconds after each Save, but it has saved me numerous times...Check out the link the code for the batch file is listed below.

"c:\program files\winrar\rar" u -as -m1 -r -x*.rar OOTPSAVE.rar

I'm sorry for the awfully slow response to this thread.

Obviously, some time has passed since you posted this issue, and the 1.0.2 patch has since been released as well. Are you still seeing this issue, or should I go ahead and close this thread?
