Unable to Import Historical

I've tried both Lahman and the Arod/Galron databases and when I try to import the league (after selecting the master.csv) it starts to import the database and then crashes when it gets to 'Importing Players'.

Is this typical?

Version 1.0.1 installed.

i have had no problems with either DB - so not sure if its yer machine or something else - did the DB's all download correctly...?

Version 1.0.1 installed.

Did you install OOTPB in the default directory? If not, that could be the problem. When I installed the game to the "D" drive, I could not import any historical databases. So, I reinstalled the game to the "C" drive (default). Now, I have no problem importing Lahman, Arod, etc.

Make sure the Master.csv isn't open in excel or anything else or it will crash the game.

OOTP Was installed the default directory, not sure what the problem was, but I uninstalled and reinstalled and that fixed the problem with OOTP2006.

At what point does it crash and burn? This sounds a lot like an existing problem TT 1811.

What kind of CPU are you using? Can a fictional league run with no problems?
