every day in the news, it says:

#error: category not found

other then that the game seems to be fine, aside from producing no news other then that msg...

any ideas?

sounds like a database problem. does this show in your personal messages and your league messages?

I have yet to see this bug, hopefully it get worked out for you.

Have you messed with the xml file at all? All the news articles and play by play (well most of the play by play) comes from an .xml file. "category not found" looks like it's trying to call to the file but can't find the news category in it.

Does your pbp work fine?
There's a new updated xml file in the downloads section, we found a bunch of errors in it that got fixed and made available... not that there isn't still more but they're still fixing those when found.
If that's the problem jsut replace the file and it'll show you news again.

We have a new rule that states that Tech Support threads wherein we have not received a response within 7 days will be closed.
