Generic Logos Galore.....

I have worked on adding some logos to my photobucket site and after hearing that some people are happy with just the simple look I have added about 450 logos in circular format, transparent background, and in .png format. The set is not complete I have only done A thru O but am working on the rest to be hopefully completed today.

These logos are from my Sandman's Starter Pack that was posted about 2 years ago. This will answer some questions about what the set is and what it is not:

1. Are these logos you have created?

Yes, the logos are mine, the graphics are from various sites on the web with about 90% from LOGOServer. I saved these from the site, took out all the lettering and background colors.

2. How do I use them?

Just copy them from the photobucket and use within the game, they can be used in OOTP 4-6 but were created for use in OOTP2006. If used in OOTP6 they will need to be converted to .BMP files.

3. Can I add text to these if I prefer a different style?

Yes, the logos can be used how ever you want them. The best way to add text would probably be to delete the outer (2) rings and paste the center directly over Knucklers Template, over the baseball and inner ring layers.

4. I like the logo but the color is just not right for the background for me

The color can be changed in two ways. The center color is one color and can be modified using the color replacer tool in any graphics program. If you do not have one there is a free one on the net - The GIMP. You can also just use MSPaint and fill the areas around the center graphic.

5. Where are the Major League Logos?

There are none. Sandman's Starter Set was designed for the end user to create there own fictional logos. There are many more artists on the boards that have really good MLB and Minor league sets. My set was designed to fill the other requests.

6. I like the images but want to create my own, can this be done?

Yes, Sandmans starter set is at the Jazzrack site and can be downloaded with all the images you see on my site with the exception of 5-10 that I have added. The starter set is about 2 years old so it does not have any current images.

7. Can I get them all?

At the present time I have them only on the photobucket site. PM me with a request if you want them all. Also if you have an image to donate to me, I will create the simple logo and put it on the site. This is not including any text or Knucklers template logos. This is for the simple ones. If you want a logo request using Knucklers template post those request on the board.


Now for the legal stuff. You can use the logos is anyway you wish with the exception of charging for them. If you use them to create logos for others just give me a small credit in the posting. None of the IMAGES are mine and I do not own the rights to the images. I simply took the images, fixed them to be used in the logo and created circular logos using an old template I have used for my fictional leagues.

Please contact me if the logos do not appear in the game as I have not had the chance to game test all the logos.

I have uploaded 390 images with a colored background (within a circular format - with transparent background behind circle) and the same images with a white background. They can be viewed an downloaded from the photobucket account in my signature....
