Freezing Problems - OOTP5

I have been able to use OOTP5 successfully in the past. I ended up losing it and just recently downloaded the free version. When I go to press a button now the game freezes along with everything else. Sometimes it will continue to work but on rare occasions it will give me an error something about my graphics and I will have to restart my computer in order to fix it.

System:

Windows XP
1.5 gig RAM
atleast 100 GIG of HD space

Turn off your virus software while trying to play, you may want to uninstall and reinstall.
