All of my personnel have vanished.
I'm running a universe with two major leagues, each containing 3 levels of minors. I've gone through over thirty years of history with this league, but all of a sudden, something strange happened . . .
I went to the player's page of someone I wanted to scout. I clicked the scouting quick-tab, and it opens, but with no names listed. I go to my personnel page; no one is listed there, except for me, the GM of the major league team. I check other teams in both of my major leagues; no one has ANY coaches, scouts, or doctors. On the league transaction screen, I check the Available Personnel tab; no one. Finally, unsurprisingly, I check the Database Info from the Game Tab at the top of the screen. It lists 21,065 players, 1 human manager, and 0 coaches. I don't know exactly when they disappeared. I was in mid July and had surely used a scout - at the very longest ago - a month before, so it was certainly in the middle of a season. I don't regularly play as the comissionor, though I have intermittantly used the feature to make some changes. This occured post-patch, though the league's life has spanned pre- and post-patch. I can't think of anything else to describe for recreating the problem - I can't think of anything I did to trigger it. I have actually been more than pleased with the game so far, but what a strange, perhaps league-ending bug . . . What else would you like to know, testers. If you think computer specs would help: Intel Pentium 4, 1.60 GHz, 512 MB of RAM. Picture shows my personnel page, and also what happens when I click Scout Organization. All teams in the league look like this. ![]() Thanks for any help. |

If you did a dump before the problem, and haven't done it since, check your import/export folder and look at the coach.csv file and see if it still contains coaches. One step at a time. This is strange.

That's about the strangest thing I've seen so far.
There's really only one explanation...... Simulated Aliens in your simulated Universe are abducting all simulated Baseball Staff for use in simulated Alien Experiments. If that truly is the case, it's not a bug it's a feature! |

Unfortunately, endgame, I hadn't exported any csv files to look at (I'm still learning about these features
)But, I did look back in the transactions report to find if it still mentioned any staff changes. I found, several months back, a coach that was hired by a team. I clicked him to see if the game could find his Coach HTML file. It couldn't. I got the following error: ![]() I'm no expert, but these seems to make the problem even stranger. Not only did the coaches themselves get removed from the game, but their html files also vanished . . . |

What have you done? Very odd.
Have you deleted or modfied any files in the saved game folder? An Opera user? That's a class act. |

CHCfan,
I'm sorry I'm so late to this party, but count me among the baffled. I logged this as TT # 2100, but I suspect Markus will have a very hard time replicating or finding this issue. ![]() If anyone comes up with anything like this, please do let us know! Do you still have this game file saved, so Markus could take a look, if necessary? Thanks, Steve |

Indeed, as I suspected, Markus and crew have been unable to reproduce this issue.
I don't suppose you've come across this issue again, have you? ![]() Unfortunately, unless we have further developments regarding this issue, we may need to just close it down... Thanks, Steve |
