TT#'s
Why can't a list of known issues (i.e. TT#s) be presented in this forum so that everyone knows what issues have been recognized and will hopefully be addressed in patch 2 or other future patches?

That is a very good proposal. I am for this. Others have raised this with SI. I suggest a polite lobbying campaign.
Marc and Markus want to make this game as polished as possible. |

I would like to see this as well. At least you would know if you are dealing with a known bug when you encounter a problem.

While people like yourselves, who are advocating using it, would use it and likely provide further definitive comments, those who should use it wouldn't. for now, just my (subject to change) <---accidental joke.

This sure sounds like a good idea to me. Managing the list and keeping it updated would make some work for someone, however.
Sounds like a good job for one of the betas. I suggested inanother thread that this forum needs another moderator or two -- here's a chance to appoint someone to the task. |

I'm all for it. It would be comforting just to see the list and know a bug was being taken care of for patch 2.

Still, a periodic publishing of the active TTs would be nice. But I'm not holding my breath. They'd be opening up a whole new can-o-worms ...

Perhaps somebody can manage the list and post it as a "closed" or "locked" thread, like the patch list was. That way, we'd know what was reported and what wasn't, and it'd also prevent the inevitable replies to the thread like "why isn't my problem on the list?" etc.
I am confident Markus, Marc, and the rest want to make this game polished. They can only do that by having a structured and readable list of complaints/bug logs from users like us. Right now, there are so many forum posts that I'm sure they can't sift thru all of them. Listing TT's, if done in the correct way, would be a good way to let us know what has been logged and what hasn't. Theoretically, it should cut down on the duplicate posts and reduce the sheer volume of posts in the tech support forum.

We are in the process of trying to retool the TT'd issues as they are recorded until they get to the closed/claim fixed category. Bear with us as we have a few more posters with issues needing recourse than we have recorders. But we are not ignoring anyone, just trying to get the backlog caught up, and be able to give folks a little more info as well... when we have it.
This way we can narrow down the non-TT'd issues, or issues that are on the table for review, patches, new features, next versions etc.. so just as soon as we get an issue verified that is not a reported and TT'd issue, we will get it in the system asap.

Sounds to me like you need someone who will volenteer their time for the sole purpose of comparing the Test Track list versus the posts on the board, and has the power to close/move threads that have been fixed.
Now where to find such a person?

Believe me, we have a few of us working on it, but we can not work 24 7 on it.
