The other Pierre editor anyone??

I need the version of Pierre's v4 editor that allows you to modify contract extensions. I've read that it's the version that had the same interface as the v3 editor before Pierre released the new PE2. In any case, does anyone know where I can get a hold of it? In my stupidity, I've messed up 2 contract extensions and would like to fix them now rather than waiting for the end of the season.

Just mailed it to you. I havent posted in a long time, relegated to bat boy I see. I have probably every utilty etc ever posted for OOTP going back to the original if anyone ever needs something. We should have a site somewhere to post all these old files for the general public.

Hey can you send me the program too if you have a chance? ilblcommish@hotmail.com

If it's a file that you think's too big for a hotmail account, send it to cartedw@iit.edu I shouldn't have a max size limit on that account.

Thanks in advance.

Wade, Steelyglint has been advocating that very same thing for a while and Henry at Big City Baseball has volunteered to host them. Big City Baseball is at www.bigcitybaseball.com and please send BCB any OOTP utilites that you have that aren't listed there as active on the utility list first page.

Thanks, And Let's Do this Right

Thanks Malleus, I've contacted Henry via email and will start uploading what I have tonight and over the weekend to BCB. Glad I could help out the community. On another note, I haven't posted for quite some time or created much since I did the original 1964 Roster Set for OOTP2 that is still floating around. Trent Smith ( no relation ) updated it to work with OOTP3. I started working with the 2002 roster sets at the beginning of the season, but what a monumental task! My schedule would just not permit an accurate creation of such a roster set. I see others are trying to complete this still. What I'm getting to, is people like yourself, Rolen, Henry, and the other fine contributers should band together for next season OOTP5 or whichever incarnation and take a team or two and get this done correctly once and for all. It would been nice to be involved in the Beta testing, I could have offered alot. Let's put something together.....

Is this the editor that is supposed to work with OOTP4?

If so, I can open up my league in it, but when to go to views teams or players, it's all jumbled...

Suggestions? Or is this the wrong version.

Wade, that 1964 roster set was great. I helped talk Trent into converting it. Later I built my own 1964 roster set (it's in my 5seasons.zip pack at Baseball Sim Central) and then Gambo took that and improved on it with another set which is also available at BBSC.

Please do send every utility you have to Big City Baseball. Having them on one site is a great idea.

As to the 2003 roster idea, I like it. Since you are the Grand Old Man of roster sets, why don't you coordinate it and start a new thread asking guys to sign up to do 2 team sets each? You could get Henry to help and he could keep a list up on BCB of who is signed up to do what and what their progress is. I volunteer for the Braves and Astros. If we released it on the fan sites at the same time as OOTP5 I think it would really help the OOTP community.

As to the beta testing, talk to Steve. I would be happy to recommend you, but your work speaks for itself.

Thanks.... I'm just going to send him everything and let him sort it out as to what to post. I didn't get a chance to start uploading the files to BCB last night as I had hoped. I'll be uploading them starting this afternoon, three day weekend.

Thanks, Wade. A lot of OOTP utilities are hidden/missing.
