I was also going through my game and changing all the colors of the minor leagues and even some of the MLB teams to their correct colors. If enough ppl are interested i'd b more than happy to release yet another version that includes these changes

There may be some issues with the underlying roster in this quickstart. I simmed 2006 and a couple of odd things came up.

1) The league leader in complete games had 19, and there were many more in the high teens

2) In the American League there were 2 HBP all season. 2!

I don't know if this is settings that need to be modified, or if the pitchers in this league have control ratings that are way too high.

Nice work with the league setup though! I had no idea there were so many minor leagues out there, or that a team ever had more than one affiliate at a given level.

DBR must have turned it off but it looks like you can add it in for the next season.

I was also playing my game and noticed a lot of the league rules were changed. If you want the changes that need to be made for them to be like the MLB then:

-ENABLE Option Years

-ENABLE Rule 5 draft

-change the minimum service years for salary arbitration to 3

I dont know a whole lot about the specifics of the MLB so if any of these are wrong or there are anymore that need to be changed PLEASE let me know

If you imported a roster set and this is the first season with that roster set then spring training is automatically disabled by the game for the first season because it would have already ran on 6.5 to get to opening day.

Pitchers are going way too far into games and there are no HBP.

Yeah I am noticing that too. A single A game went 23 innings and I noticed that a pitcher went 12.2 innings......in RELIEF!!! The starter got hurt after 4.1 innings pitched, they went to the bullpen and used 4 different pitchers for a total of 3 innings and then put in the "long" man.

That isn't really an issue with the rosters, that's bad AI. That goes for any set you use for the most part.

I'm just seeing a lot of guys averaging 8 innings a start.

I dont think it is bad AI in my sim there were over 200 shutouts league wide.... that shows that the pitchers were way overly effective.. this shows the strength of the AI because it is leaving the effective pitcher in... it seems to me that the sim engine is broke.

If this uses the Cubbyfan 6.5 rosters you will have some serious issues. I simmed a full season where the league leader in RBI had 86 and only 3 guys league wide hit over .300.

Enable waivers (3 days)

I also opt for interleague play, draft pick trading and raise the cash maximum to $100M.

Go to your manager home page, select "Play in commissioner mode", go to "Act As" in the top right hand corner, select the team, go back to your manager home page and deselect commisioner mode.

The issue is no ratings are made for wild pitches, balks, or hit batters. Wich means everyone that was imported is rated at 0 per 550 batters. The only pitchers rated in these areas are the ones created when you start the game.

Being looked at for the next patch but sure puts a damper on any imported leagues.
