Logo Request for Vancouver Thunderbirds
I kinda sketched out a template idea. Here's the basic idea behind it:
-I want the main V of the bird's body to really stand out (and perhaps a bit wider of a V than the one shown) -I want the wing pattern outstretched like this (into a T shape) rather than a serif T shape like that seen on the USAF thunderbirds logo The overall logo doesn't need to be circular, I just used it as a base for myself. I'm pretty flexible on the color scheme, In the template I went with Royal Purple, Silver, and Gold, but feel free to try out different colors and designs. Thanks in advance, you guys are the best.

Saw your post and thought I'd take a stab at the logo ... I went a somewhat different direction in terms of the 'look' of the bird in your sketch, but have kept the overall idea of the 'V'. At that, I went with something more in keeping with the Aboriginal theme including colours ... something somewhat representative of the Vancouver area.
Let me know if you need anything changed. Last edited by StorminZ; 06-12-2006 at 02:56 AM. |

To echo the sentiments above, that is a FANTASTIC logo! That's amazing, professional quality. Very nicely done.
And, no, I haven't been paid off to write glowing comments

Once I actually get around to playing OOTPB, I'm going to create a completely fictional league, just so I can ask you folks for logos. It's quite stunning work that gets done here, and StorminZ's contribution is no exception.
