Bullpen Efficiency

I had one of the top starters in the league, until his endurance dropped off too much to start. So his first month in the pen, he wins pitcher of the month. I won't post this as a bug since I haven't upgraded to the new patch, but he earned 7 saves in 5 opportunities. That's efficiency!

Why would this be a bug? He was a good starter, couldn't go the innings anymore, so he moves to the pen. Is the same pitcher he was, without the extended time each game on the mound.

Bug?

Sounds like John Smoltz or Dennis Eckersley to me!

Smoltz or Eckersley, as good as they were, never earned 7 saves in 5 opportunities.

He's better than mine, who at the all-star break has 21 in 20 opportunities. -1 blown saves is still pretty darn good.

You gotta love those guys who are so good that they can close their games while never leaving their chair in the bullpen.

I'm guessing the stadium announcer comes on and says "entering the game to pitch, # 47 Bill Hotstuff", and the opposing team just throws down their bats and runs to the locker room in complete fear and panic! Game over.

What's funny is that he's doing it in middle relief; he's neither my closer nor setup guy.
