FTP Import Error

I'm getting the following error when trying to import all teams from my ftp server. For each team that has exported, it gives:

CALENDAR_DATE::set-invalid year
and
CALENDAR_DATE::set-invalid hour

It doesn't import any changes and for status says "Old File"

I havn't made any changes to the league file since posting it.

As a workaround, I can manually download all the TeamX.ootp files into my import_export directory and it works.

Online league team exports not working....

I have a test owner uploading files. I have them importing now, but no changes are coming through.

Additionally, the date error that you get when importing a file keeps you from importing again unless you exit/reenter the game.

He's put a password on his team and changed his rotation around and neither are coming through.

Surely this was tested.

Cooleyvol, can you confirm which version each of you are using, please?

Thanks.

Can we please get some kind of info on if/when the company is going to look into this.

There ARE alot of onliners out there and I'd bet most are awaiting this to start their leagues. I know I am. I have several owners waiting with me.

Is this too much to ask for a large portion of this game's consumers?

The problem, as far as I can tell is that the date error prevents any of the information from being imported. I ran the first sim for my league last night and had to manually download the files and import them team by team.

Another major problem we saw was that no free agent bids came through. According to the manual, they should be included in the exports but that did not appear to be the case.

Before we can do anything about this, are you both using Patch 1?

Ok, I just did a test and the free agent bid came through perfectly.

I am however, still having the date error when trying to import from FTP.

Help with this problem

The upload files to a website problem needs to be addressed. I plan on restarting the BTTF league with many new owners. Many have bought or plan to buy the new game when they joined my league. I can not upload to the BTTF website and fail to manually update it too. The manual does not address this issue.

I fear I may lose these new owners if this can not be fixed.

http://www.bttf.ootp-online.com/index.shtml

And now my link to the website is corrupt.

HELP!!

If exporting doesn't even work correctly yet this must be eons from being online ready.

Can we get some kind of statement on this issue? Is that too much to ask for?

There are work arounds, but they might not be realistic in a large league. My league only has 20 teams, so for me it's not a big deal to download the export files manually and import them team by team. I can understand the frustration though for larger leagues.

I'm having kind of the same problem, I'm trying to get my league up and running but when I try to test the FTP connection from OOTP it says that it can't connnect. I know all the info is right, i have tried it from an FTP program and it connects, I don't have Firewall problems. So it must be an OOTP problem. Please help me so i can get my league running.
