Super Star Player Retires at 24

Below is the awkward HTML report. I've bolded the important parts. The player was injured for the entire year, but was healthy when retired, I didn't think to move him from the DL to the active roster after the season.

Sounds like you got a guy who was fed up with being constantly injured (and maybe suffered a ratings decline from sitting out seven months with his latest malady) and decided to give up the game. It's not unheard of. Kind of cool if the game makes this kind of thing happen (very) occasionally.

Fractured cheekbone likely came when he was batting, and the whole getting-your-face-smashed-by-a-fastball thing made him lose his taste for the game. Makes sense to me.

Concur.

I would place this in the heartbreaker catagory, and not a bug.
