Amateur Draft on Historic Sim Skipped
Running Tiger Fans 1901 league set for a historic sim. I set amatuer draft for 1 March 1902 in the beginning season. I sim until 30 Jan just to make sure Ankits is loading the rookies, they are there, I recognize the names, all good. Then I am set run the sim to 1 March, all good, settings good still saying draft is 1 March 02, it showed up to be able to run until the 1 March amateur draft. I go to run it, and it goes right by 1 March into spring training. I stop the sim, the draft pool is untouched, undrafted. I look back at game settings and now it says the draft is for 1 March 1903. Huh. The sim skipped right over the draft, deferred it to next season.
I fell in love with the game today, but man I can not get historic sims to run for crap.

This is an issue that I and a few others came up with. Basically, March 1 is a bad day to set your draft in a historical league, maybe all leagues. When I originally posted that it happened to me, battists said he made Markus aware, so hopefully it can be fixed in the patch.

The reason the draft fails is because the draft list, and thus player generation, can only be delivered after pre-season starts. So you need to make sure that the draft is at least one month after the start of pre-season.
