I sure love the constructive criticism from people aiming to make the game and the board a better place.

As a programmer myself, I'd like you to back up this comment in some way. Show us an app of yours there big guy. Give us Exhibit A of why the game is "poorly programmed". Note the 2 m's... that's what us in the profesion call correct spelling.

That being said, I also don't like to see members of the beta team telling customers to leave for voicing opinions, regardless of how well-supported they are.

EDIT - Second paragraph makes less sense now that Dale and Eli's Dad "toned down" his previous remark.

Example. If you truly intend to be useful then explain yourself, otherwise the comment doesn't give anyone anything useful to look at.

judging from your reactions in other threads, your current employment status must be unemployed.

But let's keep this constructive. Since you've identified that it is poorly programmed, even though such instances that youv'e created many threads about have been a rare occurance, how about you tell the community hear what you feel the specific issues are that lead to such occurances , and possible resolutions that your professional skillset would enact so that the QA department here can implement them?

It's almost impossible to determine whether the game is well programmed or not. I'm guessing it is. Now, you can debate whether it was well designed, or well tested. But well programmed is just not something you can know. The typical things you look for, like tendacies to crash or poor performance, don't seem to be there.

meh... he's entitled to his opinion. I don't necessarily agree with him, but whatever. No reason to get all worked up.

Well an opinion yes, and had he poped in a said "I think the game could have been done better by ________" or something like "If I had programmed this game I would have ______"

But instead he came in, took a shot at the programmer on his own forum, and didnt back it up at all. Seems a pretty classless, jackass kind of move

Could be that he meant to type "pro gamer" and just put an extra "r" in there.

Okay it seems you are the expert, cause of your quick lack of thoughts of the game, so here is my challenge to you. List everything that is wrong with the game in a detail instance. Also post screen shots of where you see things are wrong. Instead of making useless threads like this, how about you try to help out the development team in fixing them. NO game is perfect when it is released. If it was to be like that then we would never see this game. Also could it be your computer maybe is causing the game to crash. I didn't see you post your computer specs.

So before you try to bash this game and say it is crap, how about you think it out and just a take a step back to see what maybe causing the game to act wacky. I am sure it is frustrating for you, but for you to come in here and say the things you are is just going to get crap comments thrown back at you and is that what you want from us? Or do you want some help in trying to resolve this?

I will say again and again, this game is NOT going to be perfect and I wish people would stop making new threads that just bash this game and take up space on the forums. It is going to a take a few weeks to get alot of bugs worked out in this game, so lets give Markus and company a chance to do that and not just throw stones at them, cause in the end that is not going to get nothing accomplished

Hi, long time listener, first time caller.

I've also only had a few hours to dink around with it, and had the Pistons not choked royally last night, I might have had less time. I've played OOTP since OOTP 4. While this format is much different from before, and its easy to get lost and frustrated with the format, I get the impression that once the newness and inexperience with it morphs into a more easily navigable process, its going to be well worth getting through the "rookie season".

Its funny seeing all of the whining and crying about it being too different from what we're used to. We've been told all along that it was going to be a complete rewrite and different format and all, so I guess I thought that a bit of stumbling out of the gate would have been anticipated. Maybe its just a sign of how most people are focused on instant gratification, or some people aren't happy unless they're unhappy, I don't know.

Bottom line for me, I've enjoyed it so far and look forward to getting more acclimated to it so that I can take my beloved Tigers to to the promised land. Kudos on what looks like a helluva game.

Since this is the only intelligent rebutal I've seen. This is the one I'll reply to. My basis for calling the programming poor is the fact that the game had just crashed my system 30 times in the last 10 hours. What I find amusing is that so many people are ready to tell me "prove it" when I say its bad programming, but everyone thinks its fine and dandy for the original poster to say it was programmed well. Obviously he intended to mean the designers of the game were awesome, but he said programmers, which is a very different thing, thus my response.

Actually I just want my money back. I have no interest in playing this game any longer.
