A different Rule V draft bug

I did the intitial rule V draft and everything was fine, I didn't have the problems everyone else did. However, the rule V draft has never occured again.

Here is a copy of the league schedule, notice that no rule V is on it. It's not just an on the schedule bug, the draft has never occured except for 2006.

For things that ocur annually, only the date changes. Makes sense to me, as if you played for 100 years this event screen would be huge if it left all the offseason dates on for each individual year.

Well each year the offseason stuff gets replaced on the events schedule in my league. It should be noted that this is the only game I have started, so things could be seriously messed up like that. As I previously stated, I would expect annual events to be "updated" and not give me a super long list year after year. In other words, I don't see the schedule part as a bug since I've actually played 5 years in the game. The only bug I see is the fact that there has only been 1 Rule V draft in those 5 years.

And this screenshot was straight from the game I only cut out the unimportant parts to ensure it stayed under 100k.

Edit: Just created a new league in a league with few teams for speed purposes. And I have confirmed this schedule thing is not a bug. It's a simple matter of how it's displayed. The game clears off old the "old scheduled events" and replaces it with the new year. See the post below for the change on the events schedule

Anyway bottom line is the rule V draft never appears in consequent years in the league I posted originally. Needs to be looked at.

Ahh I get it. So for events that are repeated in the following year are updated but those that are not stay on the schedule. That is not a very good thing because then, as you see above, the Inagural Draft stays there forever and who the hell cares about when the inagural draft was when you have simmed 200 years down the road? The schedule should clear off all events that were of the previous season.

Well I agree, but its really not a major bug in my mind. I only look at the schedule to see when the next big event is. If I see the inagural draft thing as the first entry every year it doesn't really bother me.

I think more important then a minor display issue is the fact that the Rule V draft clearly happened the first year, then never happened again (as the original screenshot shows in 2011 there is no Rule V draft scheduled, nor did it occur from 2007-2010).

Maybe the game is treating the Rule V draft similarly to the inagural draft?
