Import timing

So I read on here you have to import your league from 6.5 while on Opening Day.

So I did, after having gone through a full off-season, the date was 4-1.

And now, after importing, the league date in ootpb2006 is 1-1 and I have a full off-season ahead of me again.

Yep. This is how it works. However, I believe you will not have spring training in the first season, so you shouldn't gain any advantage of it, like teams getting 2 spring trainings. Please confirm if you're seeing differently.

Well what ended up happening was I had 2 amateur drafts.
That seems pretty messed up.
