how do i get a team?????????

i'll so badly want to play in these leagues and i know i shouldnt be writing baout this on the wishlist.......but......how can i speed things up on the waitinglist?how long is the waiting list?what do i need to do to get in?quicker?

I know it can be maddening at times trying to get into a good league. Seems like the best ones have a HUGE waiting list, and a VERY slow attrition rate. The XBL (arguably the BEST v3 league, and has my vote for 2001 On-line league of the year

) had a waiting list something like 60 strong!!

Best you can do is put yourself on the waiting list, and volunteer to do something to help the league while you wait. Do team reports, review the last sim, highlight a great game or a career milestone, etc, etc, etc. A lot of leagues will bump you up on their waiting list if you improve the league.

Other then that, it's just waiting around for an owner to quit. Really nothing that a commish can do .. other then expansion.

Our league is at about 5 on the waiting list....I may be have an opening and will be tilling our list of old post. We dont get many openings but if you wanna be at the top go to our site and hit the message board.

The NPBL has 4 openings,
Seattle, San Diego, Houston, and Philadelphia are in need of owners. The league is in its 1st year, and we were lucky enough to pull in some great owners. Its a 20 team league, in throwback style. No big financial model, No Free agency. Its a throwback league where when you draft your players, they are yours until traded,cut, or retire. The parity in the league is very high, and the winning owner of the 1st season wins a real Trophy!! There will be prizes at the end of every season. So get in while you can!!

It's also a career Leauge, with fictional players. Being a career Leauge, as GM you will be able to build your franchise over time,with a live Amateur Draft of 5 rounds at the end of each season. If your Team has a off year then(while upsetting :0) all the better for your place in the Ammy Draft.

We have some great owners who won't bail, and a Commish who cares about the leauge. One owner from Australia may even write some Newspaper style article's on the Leauge happenings, and maybe the owner/GM's.

I like the "Golden Era" feel of the leauge, with such teams as the Brooklyn Dodgers, Milwaukee Braves, Washington Senators,...ahhh yes,....even the Seattle Pilots thrown in!

The chance to win a Trophy/ Plaque at the end of each season is a nice throw-in from the Commish.

Four Teams available at this time, (Seattle Pilots, San Diego,Huston,Philadelphia) so come and join us and build that Baseball Dynasty that you know you can!

The HCMLB is currently looking for owners. You'd get to come in on the ground floor and have a lot of input in shaping how the league will be run and where it will go in the future.
