Has anybody seen any out of the ordinary plays with this game yet?? Some stuff you might only see once in every hundred games or so??

I had a catcher interference call (against me) a few weeks ago...the batter was awarded first base.

I've had line drives that hit off the pitcher and go for base hits, ball hitting OF'er in the head and bouncing over the fence, wind-blown HR.....all I can remember for now.

I'm pretty sure it happened to Deion too.
Just a few minutes ago, I had a throw hit my runner in the back as he was running to first base. Then, he was called out for running outside of the base line. |

Canseco's ball in the head is probably the ultimate blooper.
I think there is also a blooper including Deion, but I'm not sure what it was exactly.

In our league's World Series we had at least two linedrive outs to the catcher. We're not quite sure what that means, but none of us have ever seen one of those in the real world...unless it refers to a tipped third strike.

This was a rare play for me at least. Down by a run in the bottom of the ninth, man on first, my batter hits an inside the park homerun to put me a head and we go on to win the game( which was in the second round of the playoffs)

A game I recently played saw it end when the ump signaled a interference call on the batter.
Pbp: "Ump signals interference. So Camarrilo is out! Wow, rare call. WOW! The game is over. . . Erie wins it, 5 to 1." The log recorded officially as: Grounded into double play, 6-4-3.

I had a triple play once. Was pretty sweet. I ran around the house yelling about it. My family thought I was wierd.

One play I haven't seen in OOTP that I see a few times a year in real life is a run-down.....

I was in this bar one time and the girl on stage was using spray paint and a watermelon to......nevermind, wrong board.

Are these quirky plays programmed to happen more often in the playoffs than in the regular seasons?

I saw a player get injured on the field for the season by getting "Mauled by rabid hyenas". That involved a slight modificaton of the injury file. I have seen catcher's interference, the HR's blown foul, bench-clearing brawl (any chance suspensions will be in OOTP5), and I am almost certain I saw one inside the park HR.

Just catcher's interference and wind-blown homers for me. I acutally saw the interference in about the second or third game I played, so I thought it was going to be over done, but I have yet to see it again. About the ball off the head, Jose Canseco did have one hit his head, then go over the fence for a homer (we have all seen it 100 times). Deion was up against the fence in foul territory near the corner and bounced it off the noggin. It didn't go over the fence, though, and it was just a foul ball.
