Online Store

Why, when I try to pre-order from the online store does it default to Euros instead of Dollars? And why is the Euro price higher than the Dollar price anyway?

39.99 euros is over 50 dollars!

Come on play fair and stop ripping us off on the eastern side of the pond!

You make it sound like the "ripping off" is coming from this side of the pond. Pricing was set by the folks over there, we American's are just the ones pumping money into your economy.

Cheers!

No, I'm making the point that why should I have to pay nearly twice as much for the same game as you. You wouldn't be so keen at pumping money in if you had to pay 51 bucks for it!

IMO we are best off abandoning that sinking ship that is Off Topic to the rats infesting it and just starting a whole new Baseball Forum from scratch.

My point was it's not "our" (American's) fault. The game was designed and is being sold from your neck of the woods. Enjoy.

I agree with your argument as I have since it was first brought up many months ago, but I dont think that $51 is close to being twice as much as $35.

51/35 = 1.457

That is my point, unless you have an American IP address, the elicense store and SI gives you no option but to pay in Euros and make 51 dollars per copy of the game.

Edit: On second thought, its probably not a good idea to post how to get around the "IP address" problem. I don't want to get into too much trouble.

Actually they'd make 51 Euros or 65.14 Dolllars not 51.

Yep, closing

Maverick, I already promised to review the pricing structure for digital distribution. We will review this for EHM 2007 (due out in September)
