Need help setting Online League Setup Settings....
Whats up fellas?
I am having a problem configuring the online league settings for my league. I am using Geocities to host the website and here is what I have in the settings: FTP Server Address: ftp.geocities.com User Name: Chuckles1719802 Password: *** (three symbols) Local Starting Directory: /OOBLRosters (What exactly does this mean? Where I want the files uploaded in my websites file directory??) Port: 0 (What does this mean also?) The error that I am getting is when I test the connection, it always says: "ERROR: The password was not allowed". Why am I getting this error? Also, do I have all those options set up right? I made a new folder in the websites file directory which is OOBLRosters. Anyone have any help for me? Could it be cause my password isn't long enough? |

you password "may" be too short. Many systems require a password to be from 5-8 characters long.

Nope, that wasn't it. I changed my password to 8 characters and it still said the same thing.

I don't know if this is the issue or not, but some web sites don't support FTP use.

If Geocities continues to have those problems, try Tripod, I know they support FTP.
