Then join the JOBL as the new owner of the recent expansion (last season) St. Louis Cardinals. Even though they are a fairly new franchise, you won't be taking over the worst team in the league.

The team will be a difficult challenge in the short term, but the Cards do have the 4th ranking minor league system, so potential is there. Top prospects include:

SP Matt Streeter (top SP prospect and 3rd overall)
1b Willard Mackinley (#8 overall)

Overall, the JOBL is a 20-team ficitional league founded in 2002 and currently in it's 21st simmed season. We've got a great set of intelligent and competitive owners too.
