Poll: How excited are you?

Man, I can't believe in less than three weeks, I could actually be playing OOTP2006! I have a feeling, by all of the screenshots, blogs and input from Marc and Markus that my life as I know it will never be the same after this game is released.

Please vote for your level of excitement with 1 being less excited, and 15 the most

Why is it that in America the phrase is 'I could care less' when describing something that you really don't care about? I've never been able to understand that. Surely we Brits have that one right with 'I couldn't care less'?

That being said - I'm a anyway!

Oh what the hell, 15! Especially with Markus' comments about moving teams, adding teams, adding/deleting divisions, and the screenie today showing it. And how LGO's idea for active/inactive leagues will be in the first patch it pushed it over the top for me.

What really excites me is it's clear that Markus and SI are listening to the community and want to do what they can to make us happy. Knowing that only makes me more excited about the likely quality of the product ...

He was either A) so excited his fingers slipped or B) convinced that no one would even come close to picking that option and thus not look there.

Hard to argue with a guy who's name begins with "English". He should know.

I am also excited that we are 3 and a half weeks away. However, I only voted a 10 on the poll because I'm having so much fun with this OOTP5 solo league I started. Since I don't think the conversion from OOTP5 to 2006 is going to happen for me, I'm only slightly elated that we are so close to the release. This deserves a frown and a happy dancing banana at the same time:

I have a feeling OOTP2006 is going to make a lot of people forget about their previouis leagues, even as reluctant as they are to do that now.

I didn't know you were English, I meant you should know because you had the word "English" in your screen name.

See this game has the complete opposite effect on me. I've had a solo league going on V5, but once the release date came out for 2006, I can't get into V5 because I know how much better this version will be. I can't wait to start playing again!!!!

It's a descended sort of sarcasm, where it was derived from emphasizing the word could.

I could care less.

With such a tone, the speaker implies that if he were to care enough to even think about the subject, he might be able to think of an item or two that he might care less about.

I know, I'm watching Randy "Biscuit" Burrell (how's that for a nickname) crack my league's all time HR record by hitting number 808. I hope "Biscuit" makes the transition with me here but I have the feeling that even if he doesn't there will be new stories to tell.

Great nickname!

Just curious, but which nicknames file are you using? Oh, nevermind
