Ootp 6.5

Well I have 6, and I must say I really like the game a lot, and I was considering buying 6.5, but its $10. I mean thats half of what I paid for 6 for just a few more features? So out of curiousity what new features are there in 6.5?

Seven day lineups are sweet for online leagues. And you'll be able to see which players are tired from the pre-game lineup screen without clicking on all of them. Other than that, just a few minor tweaks.

In 32 days the new game is out. Save your $10 and buy the new game.

But if I want to transition an existing league (using v6) to 2006, I will need to have 6.5 correct?

I'd wait for confirmation from an expert -- but 6.5 actually has an import from OOTP5 option, so my guess is that 7/ootp2006 would also allow imports from ootp6 as well as 6.5. I think Markus and the gang always do a really good job handling issues like this the "right" way, rather than trying to squeeze an extra few bucks out of their customers...

I'd echo above though - while I bought 6.5 last year, if I didn't have it by now -- I'd agree that it probably makes more sense to wait to till the month. While 6.5 has some nice additions, it's probably not worth even the slim price for such a short period of time.
