I don't agree with this at all. I don't see how it could not go to Bryant. He had 50+ points 7 times I believe, and without him, Lakers have NO shot at going anywhere.

In addition to Kobe and LeBron, I'd take Wade and Duncan over Nash. Sorry guys, but I just don't see Nash in the same category as those other guys. I think as far as PG's go, John Stockton was better than Nash, but he never got any real consideration for MVP. And yet Nash now has two on the shelf. I feel like I'm just not grasping something here.

I think I would have voted for James this year, although Nowitzki doesn't get nearly enough credit in these discussions. 1. James 2. Nowitzki

I really don't care one way or the other. But...
How can Steve Nash have more MVPs than Shaq?

Nash, Lebron, and Wade IMO are the 3 most valuable players to their team. Talking about Kobe willing the Lakers into the playoffs, Nash played with 7 guys named Larry all year long and they finished higher than the Lakers. I hate to be the guy to throw this out also, but I think maybe you should be more than 2 or 3 years removed from your rape allegations before you become MVP. Although Ray Lewis was what 6 months off of ratting out his boys when he won Super Bowl MVP. So what do I know

So has there ever been, in any sport, a more undeserving two-time MVP?
The guy can't play defense. His old team GOT BETTER WITHOUT HIM. This is just asinine voting. There's at least a handful of guys who are more valuable to their team. |

Nash wasn't one of the five best in the league this year.
![]() I could see either Kobe or LeBron winning it. Also, Duncan, Nowitski and Wade are more deserving than Nash. Hard to see this as anything other than the "we like the white guy who speaks English" vote.

Steve Nash as the MVP last year was a real huge stretch, but OK, he's a nice story, and it's just a one year thing, right? Guess not. Steve Nash as the MVP this year is just a farce.
