OOTP 6.51 league looking for owners

This league is entering its 7th season and has been operating for a year straight. I sim 5 days a week 7 days at a time and have maybe missed 1-2 sims ever. We are going into the 2011 season.

FA starts on Monday. This is the best FA class possibly ever for the league and since there is no FA comp anybody can make thier team a contender right away.

If you want to sign up just go to the message board and do so then go to the appropriate topic and choose your team. There is no league file for this league.

Open teams:

New York Yankees - This team had an owner for many years but he never did anything. This team is pretty bad right now with a below average farm and a terrible MLB level team. They have a bunch of money to spend though. (http://www.dankootp.com/team3.html)

Texas Rangers - Stuck in the toughest division in the leagu and not having an active owner for 2 seasons is starting to hurt them. They have a decent staff and some stud hitters. The farm is below average. They have a good amount of money to spend. (http://www.dankootp.com/team14.html)

New York Mets - This team is ready to compete. They have a solid all around team with the weak link being hte bullpen. The farm is in bad shape but they also have a bunch of money to spend. (http://www.dankootp.com/team18.html)

Pittsburgh Pirates - This is a young team that has yet to overcome inconsistency. A lot of good talent at a cheap price. Thier farm isnt as strong since most of thier players have graduated to the majors. (http://www.dankootp.com/team24.html)

Teams that might be open due to owner inactivity:

Florida Marlins - This team is in some trouble. Thier payroll is about average but thier farm has been depleted due to some questionable moves from the previous owner. Major fix-em-up team. (http://www.dankootp.com/team16.html)

Milwaukee Brewers - WS contender. Lost a couple players to FA and they also have a somewhat high payroll. Brewers have some studs in the minors but they do not have a deep farm. (http://www.dankootp.com/team23.html)

San Fran Giants - First teh good news: They are in a very weak divisoin. The bad: High payroll with a mixture of dying old players and good young players. This team is a wreck as well and needs some major work. Farm is pretty bad. (http://www.dankootp.com/team30.html)

Pirates have been taken. D-bcks are now open as well. tehy are a competitve team in a weak division and have a crappy farm.
