Under the Knife :)

Here's a screenshot that I meant to post yesterday, but forgot it

Injury Report - Under The Knife

Yep, you read that right. We worked with Will Carroll of Baseball Prospectus to modify our injury file. He also provided us with data on injury frequency, so that OOTP 2006 has the most realistic injury system ever!

Thank sooo much to MrWorkrate for establishing the contact with Mr. Carroll!

That's a VERY nice touch, guys - dedication to authenticity is something that seems to permeate the entire game.

Just a quick question after looking at the screen shot. Are there day to day injuries anymore? I don't see them listed anywhere.

Thanks again Markus, great stuff!

I do have a couple of questions though. I don't recall but did I once read that the injury file is editible? Will a Death League be possible then?

Great stuff!! BTW, is that a motion newsflash bar at the bottom there? Nice touch if it is. (Maybe I missed it before?)

IMO we are best off abandoning that sinking ship that is Off Topic to the rats infesting it and just starting a whole new Baseball Forum from scratch.

You must spread some reputation around before you can give it to Markus and MrWorkrate again.

This is a surprising and and exciting addition. Well done.
