Historical Question
If there are no more ghost players, how accurately will historical replays be if there will not be enough players to fill a major league roster, let alone a minor league roster?

Im not sure and i may be wrong but i didnt think ghost players had much effect on leagues. I thought they were mostly used so that minor leagues
could be simmed and the real/fictional players could develop. Anyways i think we could just create clone players so i dont think it would be a problem. |

One possibility as well is that in this version, you could opt to have NO minor leagues, instead of the default 3 minor leagues that OOTP 6.5 had...
I think you'd still end up with a reserve roster, though. |

According to Markus, you can have no minor league teams, in which case you still have reserves who practice a lot.

Pratice! We are talking about practice man. Not a game! Not a game! We are talking about......practice. Sorry I couldn't resist. I wonder then if you can control practice schedules like you could in FM 2005 and the CM games. SI had to take out the training because it was too complicated and detailed for most.

On the league leaderboard, there was one pitcher who was light-years ahead of everyone else in wins (had 18 wins after the first 46 games). So I pulled up that team to check it out. Turns out, he was the only pitcher on the staff, so he was pitching every game (had 28 losses at that point as well.) |
