Would like to play on-line leagues but have no idea what to do!!

Hi, Ive been playing OOTP for a few years now and and starting to feel the limitations of single player leagues.
So i'd love to join an on-line league. the problem is I have never played anything online before. Im not computer stupid at all, but have no experience of on-line leagues and was wondering if there is a tutorial or guide, or any help members could get me started with.
As basic as possible would be great

Could anyone help??

First you will need to have and/or familiarize yourself with Winzip...as all league files are in this format.

You also need to be careful and choosy about what league you join. There are tons of great leagues out there. But also tons of bad ones. Look for well established leagues...or leagues that are picky. I say this beacause a league that is picky about it's member's is more likely to be well run or at least serious in its intentions.

The biggest thing is whether you want real/historical or fictional. My experience is that real roster's have higher tunover and more BS. Although this is not absoulte of course.

Post your intntions/experience...and guys will let you know if they have what your looking for.

Get or utilize AIM. Alot of trade talk and league business is conducted through AIM.

Have alot of free space on hard drive. League files tend to be very large.

As for a tutorial...i am sure there are some...I would try running a search...i am positive you'll finds loads of info.

The ATHFBL can teach you

KevvyG, The ATHFBL can teach you how much fun it is to run your very own Major League Baseball Team. We'll teach you everything you'd like to learn. You also don't need the game to play in our League. All you need to do is to be a active GM. We ask you to get on MIRC (a chat line) where our room is and to be active in there. Let me know if you're intrested. League E-Mail Address is ATHFBL@gmail.com Thanks, Rick (RJB7777777)

Only thing I can add to what Terp said is just for the time being join one league, don't do what I did when I started OOTP and join about 3 league's as you can get pretty swamped with it all if your a rookie.
