Saucy new OOTPB 2006 screenshots and content

Kicking off a couple of weeks of hyper-site activity sees two brand new screenshots of OOTPB 2006 online. These are particularly interesting as they show off one of the alternative skins (work in progress) being used in the game.

I like that skin much more than the one in the other screen shots.

Interesting, I wonder how the 'vacation' feature works.

Overall, looks good.

I like that skin a lot better. The second screen with the manager/owner info is pretty sweet too.

Wow. Markus' team went through a stretch of games where they were 20-42 (July, August, plus starting 0-6 in September) ... yet still wound up winning 83 games in the season. That's impressive

Very nice stuff, and I agree that the skin is wonderful!

"Pathetic Loyalty"?

What's that? Is the Loyalty pathetic? Are the loyal fans pathetic? Are the pathetic fans loyal? Are the fans loyal to patheticness?

Now I look at the screenshots and see the Miami team with a tiny market size and pathetic loyalty...low blow Duffman, low blow.

If it works anything like Holiday mode in FM, it will just have the game sim away, for any amount of time you want, with a few settings, such as if you want the CPU to make moves for you, and certain condidtions that trigger the game to come out of Holdiay mode. It is nice if you don't want to micro manage, or if you have just been sacked and don't want to waste time while you wait for job offers.

First thing that sticks out to me it where it says "the owner has set the ticket price to $15.00".

I like seeing the highest paid players on your club on the team financial screen. I still have no idea how 'cash available for signings' actually works after playing since OOTP4.

I hope for Team Control Settings one will not have to go through and set them to human for each and every team if every team is to be human controlled. One button for all of the settings for each team, and one for every team would be my assumption, just as it is now, and that those are there just in case we want to specialize.

What's a shortlist? Is that like the player tracker?

I'm liking the interface. That was one of my few worries. It looks very intuitive. I can't wait till this game comes out.

And I hope you can make that as customizable as possible still.
