Watch Games

i would love to see for Watch games, where you dont have to click on anything or hit spacebar to continue.

This way you can kick back and just watch the PBP game.

I personally don't feel a need to watch a game, but it would be nice to be able to go through one without hitting a key all the time.

I agree. That would be one of the few things I like about PureSim.

I like to watch the all star game and since I didn't manage it, I had to hit the space bar all the time. It was annoying. Maybe a game setup option?

As a brief aside, I used to know a guy who would get drunk with his buddies, start a game of Madden with the game playing against itself, and bet on the outcome of the game. Needless to say he had a drinking and gambling problem.

That's amazing... Did he come up with lines on the games, or just who would win?

That actually sounds like it could be pretty fun.

I was only around a couple of times when he would do it but I think I remember him only betting on winners and losers.

And yes, there's a small part of me that always thought it would be fun. My wife would never let me forget it if I mentioned doing that now though.

Man, I can imagine setting up an entire league like this, have everyone make bets with each other, setting lines and stuff, bets like who will win the Super Bowl... and then I think, "Perhaps it's time for me to leave my house for a little bit."

Oh yeah, you trust the guy who runs the games to honestly report the score? And you trust the losers to load up their Pay Pal account and ship some money off?

We need more organized crime ties to make this work. Is Rick Tocchet (sp?) available?

My wife's cousin knows Gretzky's wife. I'll see what I can do.
