Starting unique league. Need logos (revised)

Exuse me on my first post earlier.
I will be starting a fictional league when i get the new version. But I'm putting a twist on it. My leauge will be the USGL. The United States Ghetto League. The divisons naturally will be West Side, East Side, Dirty South, and Mid West. I have 20 teams, and any logos that anyone can come up with will be helpful. I'm using some of the "ghettoist" cities, with appropriate nicknames for each. As a guide I included some explanations in parenthesis:

Compton Crooks
L.A. X (nothing in particular. LAX like the airport)
L.B.C. Low Riders
Oaktown Ox (Ox is ghetto slang for a blade)
Nevada Rollers (rollers = dice/las vegas)

Hotlanta Hammers (hammer = slang for gun)
Memphis Hard Rocks (hard rock = birth place of rock n roll, but a ref. to cocaine)
B-More 8Balls (8-ball = 1/8 of an ounce, but i prefer pic of an 8-ball in pool)
New Orleans Hex (hex = voodoo)
H-Town Grillz (grillz = gold teeth/fronts)

Bronx B-Boys (birth place of b-boying, i think. maybe a pic of a breakdancer)
Philly Fire
Washington Caps (caps = capitals, but really meaning bullet cap)
Hartbeat Connects (connect = connecticut, but really means drug connections)
Camden Danger (danger = voted most dangerous city on a couple of polls)

Chicago Blow (blow = wind, but really a ref. to cain)
St. Louis Lunatics
Detroit Spinners (spinners = rims/tires)
Cleveland Thugs (thugs = bone thugs in harmony I guess?)
Gary Black Sox (city w/ largest % of blacks per total population)

So any logos anyone can come up with will be helpful. I hope this doesn't offend anyone, but I thought it would be interesting, and a challenge to some of the logo artists around here.

Tons better. I think you will get a much better response this way. I'll be curious to see what our fine logo designers come up with for you.

I tried a logo for one of my teams in photoshop. It kind of looks like some of the other logos I've seen. Im not a pro, so I still need help from others.

I removed the horizontal "S" and added a 3D effect.

Thanks for responding Jeff. But I want all the logos to look like the way Pat does it with the baseball in the middle surrounded by different color circles. But since making these logos are so fun I made another one, which happen to be for the DETROIT SPINNERS. But I still want someone to take a "crack" at it.
