Some site design feedback wanted

'm doing up a site that will be displaying various stats for players but as for design well.....I suck. So hence I'd though I'd ask for some opinions and examples that folks have ran into in their travels tha they feel were well done and easy to read/analyse

I'll use Bobby Abreau as a good example, here's some different looks that some sites have used:

Yahoo - http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/...AoQmsn8uWFCLcF
CNNSI - http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/bas.../players/5698/
ESPN - http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/player...e?statsId=5698
CBS - http://www.sportsline.com/mlb/players/playerpage/7367
FoxSports - http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/player?categoryId=85711

I'm wondering if any of you sport gurus know of other sites that have a good layout for displaying player stats and bios and such. Thanks to all that have any advice or feedback on this (that's relevant)

I don't like the CBS one at all, I like what the Foxsports one does with the players name, picture and team logo, Yahoo's ok nice and clear, ESPN I like that they have added his salary and how you pronounce his name, CNNSI I like how they do the stats part nice and clear specially seeing they do a white band then a grayish band so each line stands out.

Personally for me the ideal set up would be Foxsports name font and logo set up with the background being the team colour like they do, the info on it would be like ESPN do it with salary, how his name is pronounced and the stats would be done in the CNN style, hope you understand and hope it helps.
