Here's some back story to get you going...

I'm trying to get into the baseball play-by-play biz. When I send out a resume and CD, I like to have the logo of the team I'm applying for on my materials, to show I did some research into them, took the time to specify their team, and can use the computer some.

This time, however, the team I'm going to apply for is brand new. Not only do they not have a logo, they don't even have a team name yet. But rather than wait, I'd like to get them my material now so that hopefully I stand out. And that's where you awesome logo designers come in.

The team is in St. Joe, and right now it looks like they are going by "St Joe Professional Baseball" (http://www.stjoebaseball.com/ for what little they have). If someone could whip me up a simple logo incorporating those words, maybe with a baseball or something, that would be awesome. Oh, and no background color. I'd like for it to blend in with the CD cover (but I can at least take the image out and put it on a transparent background to make that work).

There are no size limitations or dimension restrictions, but as the logo typically goes on a CD (the upper half of one) keep that in mind for the size and for scaling purposes. Since it's not for OOTP, it doesn't have to a BMP either. I suppose a JPG would be easiest to work with.

Thanks Pat, those look great. One change, if I may, can I see it with the background in a dark blue? Like the blue in the link I have in the first post, http://www.stjoebaseball.com/ They seem to use that blue everywhere.
