Opening in league for stat freaks
SF is open in SOOSIMBL, a very competetive, stats-only MLB league. Ability and talent ratings are hidden. Other ratings are 1-100 and Stars are enabled so GMs can sort draft candidates.
This is the only league in the OOTP universe configured this way. Sign up at the forum in the New Owners thread and get to work, stat head! ![]() Chris W. The Tampa Bay owner had to leave to concentrate on his studies. He was doing a great job with the Devil Rays, too. This is a good team to snap up. So, TB and BAL are now open.

San Diego just opened up. The outgoing owner had to leave suddenly, but he did a helluva job with this team and the roster holds a lot of interesting options and great young players.
Baltimore is also still open. This is not your usual Baltimore. This is a Baltimore at the top of the league's toughest division. Check them out. They could help you earn the distinction of being an online owner who won a championship with the Orioles -- think about that! Chris W. I just joined
For anyone interested in this league:
It's outstanding. I just joined a week ago and I can't speak highly enough of it. Great commish, a group of owners who seem really cool, and, most interestingly of all, a stats-based league. I love being able to gauge players (and prospects) by their stats. What can be more real than that? SD and BAL are open, and each has their advantages. SD: Tony Gwynn's pants are used to cover the infield during rain delays, so you can feel real connected to the 2007 HOF class. BAL: If you don't win then you can blame Bud Selig for placing the nationals within your "territory." Hell, this league is so real, we may end up giving you a couple hundred million to make up for it. Maybe not. Still, the league rocks. Join us!
