Bears/Panthers Game Thread

Should be a good defensive battle. The Panthers running game seems to be in much better shape than it was the last time these two teams hooked up. Any predictions?

Panthers 157
Bears 146

Instead of being a defensive battle, the game turns out to be an offensive juggernaught. The score is going to be 146-113 in the 4th, but Grossman gets hurt. Orton goes in and goes 0-12 with 8 INTs in the 4th which leads to the Panthers getting 44 points in the 4th quarter.

In all seriousness, I believe Grossman will have a below average day (something like 12-26, 147 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT). I don't care that the Bears D-line had 8 sacks against the Panthers during the last game. The Panthers will come up with schemes to prevent that from happening again.

Panthers - 20
Bears - 17

It all depends on which Panther defense decides to show up. The one that was able to hold Tiki under 100 yards or the one that let Julius Jones run for almost 200 yards. If Dan Morgan stays healthy and the Panthers are able to establish a running game I think they will have a good shot at winning.

I say bears 10, panthers 7.

I'd give the panthers the edge if they were home, but the bears will win if this is a cold weather game.

I would like the Bears to win so if the Redskins beat Seattle again, they will play another team they already beat.

PS: I would also like the Patriots to win out, because the Redskins own the Patriots.

It's actually supposed to be pretty mild for this time of year. The current forecast (and we all know how much it could change) is for a high temperature of 43 degrees with a 10 percent chance of rain.

And I am taking ANY AND ALL bets on this game. Bears WILL WIN

Yes, you beat us the first week of the season, when we started a rookie making his first start EVER but you couldn't find the end zone once... If we play again you GOT NO CHANCE

Please you guys have no chance against our defense. There is a reason Washington didn't draft Rex Grossman. Steve Spurrier was there and knew the kid can't handle the NFL.
