Post Will the yankees ever lose?

I just installed Rolen's rosters and started managing the Yankees in my career league. I'm starting to wonder if this team will ever lose. I have managed games so far and I'm 11-0. Is there a chance that the Yankees were made a little to strong ratings wise? Anyone else managing the Yankees using these rosters and winning so easily? I'm new to the game, maybe its just a "hot" start by the team?

Not quite 11-0 but I used one of Rolen's rosters with OOTP3 and had a few easy games in my first season. Just don't be too frustrated if the Yankees goes 0-5 in the first few games of the next couple of seasons.
I'm 18-18 in my second season, including Clemens going 1-5 with an ERA of over 5. Good thing I signed Millwood (5-1 4.50 ERA)

Ah, this is beautiful. The beauty of OOTP - where two total strangers can connect through the love of the communist Yankee bastards.

Actually I'm just a jealous Braves fan who's been bitter ever since Wohlers gave up that home run to Leyritz. I was at that game, and it was possibly the worst night of my life sports-wise. ACCCCKKKK! I'm having flashbacks!!!! NO!!!

I remember that night well, It was October 24th (my birthday) 1996. I arrived home to see the Yanks down 6-0. Im still trying to figure out why Wohlers threw him a slider instead of the heat. Leyritz said on the World Series video that he couldn't catch up to him and if he kept throwing the smoke he probably would have struck out. With that said the Braves look strong again this season.

Thanks for the props for the Bravos. I think they'll be pretty good this year too. But the Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz tri-fecta can't last forever. I keep fearing every year that this will be the year that age catches up to them. (I've thought that for the last 3 years now, so I keep my fingers crossed).

Actually, there's no team that better represents capitalism than Yankees. After all, we buy our World Series rings, don't we? Save your communist barbs for the Reds.

Cancel my earlier statement boys. The hated Red Sox have just pounded the Yanks for the first two games at Fenway, this must be only pretend right

i'm the yanks in my career and i'm like 18-11 with boston on top by one game...well i had to push back after being 4 down. so i dont think the yanks are unbeatable in the game. also i find it hard to believe that i cant go on a spendin spree...i only have 1 million for free agents. and yes i'll free up salary space when some guys leave for free agency but that'll just push it to 3 million and i did the math on my numbers. i'm due to maybe make 5 million in revenue cash...thats 8 million for me. i could probably just do what the yanks do best, invest my money on someone intelligently. i could probably pick up some really good backups with 8 million dollars. i see a good backup catcher now (wat a relief, maybe i can finally get rid of castillo...NO NOT POSADA, very funny guys...)a solid hard hitter off the bench ala GlenAllen Hill and maybe even a one inning type guy in my bullpen or probably for cheaper a Mop Up guy...yea!

My lineup:

1. Johny Damon (LF)
2. Derek Jeter (SS)
3. Nick Johnson (DH)
4. Bernie Williams (CF)
5. Jorge Posada (C)
6. Tino Martinez (1B)
7. Jermaine Dye (RF)
8. Alfonso Soriano (2b)
9. Scott Brosius (3B)

Rotation:

1. Mike Mussina (5-1)
2. Kevin Millwood (5-1)
3. Andy Pettite (3-5)
4. Roger Clemens (1-5)
5. Rookie pitcher (Forgot his name, 3.-0 so far)

I have some top notch relievers: Mendoza, Stanton, Karsay, Guthrie, Boehringer, Rivera.

I'm not using Rollen's current roster, I imported my old OOTP3 league.

Atlanta Braves won the World Series at my first season.
