League Site Building Help

I have a league that I've been running for the last three years or so. I have a very simple league page (here) that I built using very simple HTML.

The news on the page is copied and pasted from the league news page.

However, I've seen sites out there (such as this one) that have the standings (or other information) on the front page. I'd like to be able to include information like that on my league's front page, but I don't know how to include the information from the other league pages without manually copying and pasting the information from the standr.html page.

Does anyone know of a way to do this automatically?

copy the html of the standings and then post them in a text box in the front page.

Thanks. Actually, I was trying to find a way to automate it, so I wouldn't have to cut and paste. In addition, I just wanted to use W-L, Pct and GB. I don't want to have to manually cut out the rest of the standings line for each team.

I'm currently working on a Perl program that will do it for me, but I'm wondering if there is a better way. That's why I posted my question here.
