Do I need to reinstall on new PC?
Here is my situation...I recently had my old PC crash and had to go out and buy a complete new computer
The computer that crash was extremely old and only came with a 6 gig harddrive, but I added a 80 gig a few years ago and put all my games on the new bigger harddrive. I know I can take out the 80 gig and put it on my new pc, but my question is do I have to reinstall OOTP? I'm fairly sure when I downloaded 6.01, and subsequent versions, I placed it in the E: drive ( on the 80 gig), but I'm not sure if the game would have placed any files on the C: drive (the original that came with the computer). I know that all the game files and league files were on my E: drive. Anybody that have had to do this before to give out any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance |

I think you may have to, but that largely depend on whether OOTP writes anything to the registry upon install. You could always just try running it and see if it works, but it probably won't, since the eLicense info is stuck on your old dead drive. You'll have to deal with eLicense to get the license moved over to the new PC...

That is what I was wondering as well
I thought that you could use the e-license for two different computers? So I could still use the original license? |
