Installing BOSI v1 for solo league

Recently I installed BOSI v1 on my computer (I have OOTP5, not 6). I also downloaded the exporter and created the .csv files with it. The problem with installing it is, the bosi.allin1websolutions.com site has instructions on installing OOTP5 but assumes you are only using it for online play; the bosicentral.com website does have instructions for installing it but they are for OOTP6. Also, my computer has SmartFTP and PhPMyAdmin, but not cPanel.

Anyway, my question is: as I do not have cPanel, how do I change permissions for read/write/execute to 777, or was it already set as such?

I wish I didn't have to wait a year to find BOSI (specifically, BOSI v1), much less discover that it had solo-league compatibilty - nearly every URL is dead that instructs you how to install it.
