Fielding Awards At DH

I have a catcher who I decided to move to DH fulltime and just not changed his position to DH. He was a decent catcher but had a weak arm and his fielding % was .974. Anyway, I change him to a DH and his scouting report says that he is a weak defensive DH with no range and that I shouldnt count on him winning any fielding awards at DH.

I thought this was hilarious.

I think this is the first time I have specifially designated a guy as a DH. Most times I leave him at the original position so if I need him, he hasnt lost too much of his ratings.

I've found that if a player is listed as DH, despite the position he plays, the computer AI will practically give him away in a trade. if you switch their position, however, it takes a lot more to get them to give them up.
