BOSI Freezes on Import

Hey Everybody,

My league has been running BOSI 2.002 for 2 seasons now and everything was fine until just a couple of weeks ago. All of the sudden, BOSI freezes on "Batting Situational Stats" and can't process "Pitching Situational Stats" either when I try to do so with single step import options.

Now, this all worked before. Does anybody have any idea what has happened? Any ideas on how we could fix it? Maybe even a decent work-around.

We use OOTP 6.5. I have already tried to setup a new fresh copy of BOSI.

I have experienced a similar problem over the last couple of seasons (Except my BOSI was crashing on Batting Situational Stats also). Was unable to determine why it was crashing. My work around is to delete the records from the bat and pitch stats table for the current year. The downside to this is that you lose two things. 1) Stat breakdown if a player was traded. 2) Last sim stat information.

Since you are only having a problem with Pitching Stats, you can try running the SQL statement at the end of the post. You will have to replace "$year" in the statement with the year you league is currently in. Just go into phpMyAdmin to run it. You can PM me if you are unfamiliar.

** It is good practice to backup your database if you are concerned about losing or corrupting your data. **

DELETE FROM bosi_PITCH_STATS WHERE SEASON=$year

i had this problem in one league towards the end of the season, but after the new season started it went away and all is well.

now i have a problem with another league not importing all the way, and this league is around the trade deadline.

there has to be something that can get around this.
